Most people will experience redness, similar to a mild sunburn, for about 24 hours. Occasionally, there may be minimal pin-point bleeding. Within a week or two, you will notice that your skin is smoother and more radiant looking, but full effects may not be seen for a few months.

Prior to the treatment, a topical anesthetic cream is applied to minimize any discomfort.

There are virtually no negative side effects, other than some dryness and redness that is mostly resolved by the next day.
