Restylane L is an injectable used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It can also be used for lip enhancements.

Restylane L adds volume and contour to problem areas of the face, including smile lines and and facial wrinkles.

If you are looking to rejuvenate problem areas including vertical lip lines, Marionette lines, and smile lines, or increase fullness in your lips, Restylane L may be right for you.

After a Restylane L treatment, you may have swelling for 24-72 hours, especially with injections in the lips. The first time you try it, you should avoid planning social events for 48 hours.

If you’ve previously had cold sores around the mouth, the treatment might provoke an outbreak.

Most patients see an immediate difference after the Restylane L injection. However, it can take a few days to “settle into” it’s final shape.

Depending on the area treated and your skin, Restylane L will typically last 4 to 6 months.

While pain tolerance between patients varies, there are many topical and infiltrative anesthetic treatments that can minimize the pain. With an anesthetic, most patients feel little to no discomfort.
