VOLUMA XC can reverse the deflation of the cheek. This smooth gel is injected into the cheek area to restore volume loss, associated with aging.
VOLUMA XC is used when flattening or sagging of the cheek area is noted.
Voluma XC injectable gel is generally well tolerated. Most side effects are mild to moderate and last 7 days or less. The most common side effects include temporary injection site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration.
After a Voluma XC injection, you will typically see immediate results. Typically, final results appear within 1-2 weeks.
The natural-looking results of VOLUMA XC can last up to two years with optimal treatment.
While pain tolerance between patients can vary, we use a topical anesthetic prior to injections so that most patients feel little to no discomfort.
