Botox
Botox is a prescription medication that is used to soften the signs of aging. It relaxes the muscle that is causing a wrinkle. The most common areas of treatment are: “The 11’s”, the area between the brows used for scowling; the forehead, and the crow’s feet. Typical results from Botox last 3 to 4 months.
Juvederm is a smooth, clear gel that immediately fills and softens existing wrinkles. The depth of the wrinkle determines whether the Ultra or Ultra Plus is used. Lidocaine, an anesthetic, is made into the product to make the injections comfortable. It typically lasts about a year.
Voluma is the only FDA approved product for correcting volume loss of the cheek. It is used to fill and lift the cheeks up, reducing the hanging jaw line. It contains the anesthetic, Lidocaine, for a comfortable injection. Voluma is FDA approved to last 2 years.
Radiesse is an FDA approved product for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, for facial contouring and for volume replacement to the hands. Results last for a year.
Sculptra is a biocompatible material that is used to treat volume loss of the face. The results are not immediate. Sculptra takes time to gradually correct the depressions in your skin. Results last 2-3 years.
