Juvederm XC injectable gel is generally well tolerated. Most side effects are mild to moderate and last 7 days or less. The most common side effects include temporary injection site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration.
After a Juvederm XC injection, you will see some immediate results. Typically, final results appear in 3 – 5 days.
The long-term effects of Juvederm XC will depend on the injection site. However, most patients see results for about 12 months.
